HOW TO REACH US

Ferry terminals

Ouistreham/Caen (from Portsmouth) is approximately 60 km/55 minutes away

Cherbourg (from Poole and Portsmouth) is approximately 95 km/75 minutes away

From Ouistreham

From the port take the D514 road to Caen. At the Caen ring road take the signs for CHERBOURG (N13). Follow the N13 until you see the D5 turn-off for Molay Littry (ignore the temptation to go into Bayeux; you are on a new ring road not shown on most maps). Follow the D5 to Molay Littry and turn right at the mini roundabout in the centre of town. Be sure when leaving Molay to follow the D5 round to the right following the signs to ISIGNY SUR MER - do not go straight on past the railway station. After you have passed a church on your right, a sign to Chateau de Molay on your left, a water tower and an electricity substation, take the road to the right marked Saonnet - Mairie Eglise. The turning can be identified by a memorial with two flagpoles. Pass a sign to Les Vases on your right; La Croix is immediately visible when you take the next turning left.

From Cherbourg

From the port follow directions to the N13 to CAEN. Continue all the way on the N13 until the exit for ISIGNY SUR MER. Turn off and take the D5 direction Molay-Littry/Balleroy. About 5 km on the D5 takes a sharp turn left - don’t miss it. You’ll know it’s coming up when you see the sign for the chateau of Colombieres. Continue down the D5 through Colombieres, Vouilly, and Bernesq. About three km after Bernesq (and just after passing through a long straggly village of houses) you will see a sign advertising paintings for sale. Just opposite is a memorial with two flagpoles. Turn left here down the road marked Saonnet - Mairie Eglise. Pass a sign to Les Vases on your right; La Croix is immediately visible when you take the next turning left.
